馃尃 Bi Xenon High Beam Not Working

This sub is dedicated to discussion and questions about Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs): "an industrial digital computer that has been ruggedized and adapted for the control of manufacturing processes, such as assembly lines, robotic devices, or any activity that requires high reliability, ease of programming, and process fault diagnosis." BI-XENON HEADLIGHTS MODULE: FUNCTION. Xenon headlights are comprised of the gas discharge lamp, the xenon ballast, and the reflection and projector-type system. Bi-Xenon means that high beam and low beam are realised by a projection module. This has the advantage that only one ballast is required. This means that two light distributions with a Low beams: High Beams with Bi-Xenon and Halogen Highs: So if you dont know how bi-xenon projectors work it is pretty simple. There is a shield built into the projector that focuses the light for the low beams. Then when high beams are turned on it activates a solenoid that drops the shield out of the way allowing for full light output from the 2009 with factory HID headlights. High beam is not working on the right/passengers side. It is not the bulb. I don't hear the click that I heard on the drivers sight. Driver info system was reporting an error, but after remvoing the headlight assmblies and swapping out a new bulb (which didn't help), I no longer get the notice on the info panel Posts: 130 Threads: 44. It is a bi-xenon headlight. When turning on the high beam, I got the blue icon on the dash that high beam is activated. #1 路 Feb 28, 2014 My 2005 330i high beams only work when I flash oncoming vehicles. When I turn my high beams on, the low beam on the passanger side adjusts to high, the driver side stays on low and the high beams don't come on at all Anyone else had this issue?? My 2007 has bi-xenon headlights, but the inner lights are halogens. Nov 4, 2016. #1. Hello all! I have a slight issue with my bi-xenon headlights on my a4. I have retrofitted them the other day, which went quite smoothly tbh, done all necessary coding but for some reason the high beams will not stay on. If I switch them on, they will switch off after a second or two. Any ideas what could be causing this or what If you code the ALKZ, a value for the bixenons set to wert_01 should enable the inner halogen light to light up when you turn on high beams. This is the function that non bixenon cars have. Your car is also coded to have daytime running lights, which are the lights that are on when the car is running without lowbeams on. 6 posts 路 Joined 2013. #1 路 Jan 20, 2014. Hello, I have a 2012 C300 that has the HID Xenon replacement bulbs that are not working. Both bulbs appear to be okay. All other lights are working with no issues. Car display shows that both the left and right low beams are inactive. I keep reading about a ballast that supports the HID replacement bulbs. On my car with bi-xenon, the halogen high beam is used for flash-to-pass duty only. It may be used as DRL, tho I have that feature disabled. The coding Scott refers to is done by a shop with the proper computer, after you install everything. The car's brain needs to know about the bi-xenon lights so they work properly. My understanding was that putting $522 in the VO would at least give me baseline Bi-Xenon function (EG halogen high beams only come on as passing lights but don't come on with high beams, no CANBUS errors). Even if that's not the case, I must be doing something wrong changing the VO because it doesn't persist through a power cycle. Press clip firmly and work it into the hooks on the bottom side of the bulb retainer. Determine mounting location for the ballast and how you will route wires. For the BMW X3, the headlight housing is sealed and has sufficient room inside to mount the ballast. This made for a cleaner install that was weatherproof. Shop Audi A4 Headlight Bulb. And the light is reconcentrated after passing through a convex lens then glare will not occur on road. 3. A bi-xenon or a low beam projector lens you need.
