Alright, I've confirmed that the NAME of the switch that I'm looking for is the "mode control." Update -- now the floor vents are no longer opening/working. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. It's easy to replace, but after doing so, our vent speeds go out one by one, until all we have left is FULL BLAST. It seems to take between 500 and 5000 miles for the resistor to blow. Effect was no turn signals, abs + airbage lights constanly on and the A/C blower inop. Disconnected the battery to reboot the system, that didn't work. Checked the fuses under the hood (they were all good) Then I went to the fuse block under the dash (below the parking brake release) Found that the 10a "Ignition switch" blown. 2.
